We have been operating out of our office at 111 Mandvi Genu Road for quite a while now. Running a transport business like Arco Roadways Pvt Ltd is a lot of work, especially with how crowded Princess Street gets during the middle of the day. Our space is up on the second floor, so we spend plenty of time looking down at the traffic and trying to manage our delivery schedules. It is mostly a lot of phone calls to our drivers and making sure the paperwork for every load is actually correct. Sometimes the stairs up to the second floor feel a little long after a busy day, but that is just part of being in this old building. Most of us working here have lived in this part of the city for years, so we know the shortcuts and how the local roads behave. We do not have a fancy lobby or anything like that because it is just a place where we get the real work done. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, there is always something moving or someone calling about a specific delivery. We have seen this neighborhood change a lot, but the basic job of moving goods hasn't changed much at all. It is about being reliable and showing up when we say we will. People know where to find us if they need something moved across the city or even further out. It is a straightforward business, really.
