Aquaroots Farms Private Limited is based over in Baner. You can find us at Flat No 503 in the Alacrity building. It’s right near Rohan Leheroff and the highway that goes between Bangalore and Mumbai. We chose this spot because it's easy to get to, which helps when we have to travel out to the sites where the actual farming happens. We are a small team and we don't really do the corporate thing. We are more interested in the plants and the systems we use to grow them. It's a lot of trial and error some days. We spend a good amount of time checking on things and making sure everything is running like it should. Farming isn't just about dirt; there's a lot of stuff to keep track of, especially with the way we do things. We aren't a huge outfit, so everyone here does a bit of everything. One day you might be doing paperwork and the next you're looking at irrigation setups. It’s a bit of a mix. We like being in the Baner area because it's growing fast, but we try to keep our focus on the practical side of agriculture. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just us in the office or out at the farm, trying to make things work. It's a lot of work but it keeps us busy and out of trouble.
