Apurva Printing Press

You will find us in Room No 14 on the 1St Floor of Hiracha Fort. It is right in Charkop, opposite the GPO, so finding us is not too hard once you get to the building. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are narrow. Inside the room, it smells like paper and ink all day long. We have been running these machines for years. It is noisy when they are all going at once, and we have to talk loudly to hear each other. We do all kinds of printing work, mostly for local folks and businesses who need things done. It is not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure the margins are right and the colors look okay. The Charkop area is always humming with activity, especially with the GPO being so close. We get a lot of people dropping in to check on their orders or to bring in new files. Some days the humidity makes the paper curl, which is a real pain. We have stacks of cardboard and paper everywhere, so you have to watch where you step. It is honest work and we like being in this part of town. We stay until the last job is off the press and dried. It is just the way it has always been at Apurva Printing Press. We don't change much around here and just keep the printers running.
