Jawahar Corporation

You can find Jawahar Corporation right in the middle of the APMC Market. If you know anything about the market, you know it is a place that never really rests at all. There are heaps of produce everywhere you look, people bargaining at the top of their lungs, and the constant sound of heavy wheels on the pavement. We have our spot here, and it is pretty basic, to be honest. It is just a room where we can sit down, take orders from customers, and try to keep the books straight. The place is often dusty because of all the heavy activity just outside the door, and we have to wipe down the desks every single morning before we start. We deal with a lot of the local traders who have been coming to this market for decades. Most of our day is spent talking, either on the phone to suppliers or to people who just walk in off the market floor to see what is happening. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything like that; people in the trade just know where we are. Sometimes we have hot tea brought in from the little stall around the corner, and we sit on whatever crates or chairs are available at the time. It is a very grounded and real way to work every day. We don't worry about looking professional in the traditional way; we just worry about getting the orders right and making sure the business keeps moving forward. It is loud and chaotic at the APMC Market, but it is home.
