Anurag Makeup Studio

This studio is over in Andheri West, specifically in K H B Colony. Being in the 5th Block on 60 Feet Road makes it easy for people to find us, right there in Rna Complex at Flat No A/51. Anurag Makeup Studio is basically just a place where we work with faces all day long. It's not like the movies. There's a lot of cleaning up after every client and washing sponges. We spend a lot of time standing up. The mirrors take up most of the wall space. We get people from the neighborhood mostly. Some are regulars who come in every few weeks. The 60 feet road gets pretty noisy with the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the makeup. We have stacks of different foundations and eyeshadows everywhere. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with hair clippings or dropped tissues, but we sweep it up when we can. It’s a local business through and through. We don't have a receptionist or anything. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. Working in Andheri West means things are always moving fast. We just try to keep up with the schedule. It feels good when a job is done right and the person in the chair is happy. That’s really all there is to it at the end of the shift. We just pack up our kits and get ready for tomorrow.
