Anup Transport Company

Over at 289 Bhat Bazar, you’ll find the office for Anup Transport Company. We are located on the 12th Main Road inside the Gaumukh Bhuvan building. Working in Bhat Bazar is always an experience because it’s so crowded and noisy. There are trucks and carts everywhere, and everyone is in a rush. Our office is up a flight of stairs and it’s a fairly quiet place compared to the street below. We’ve been here for many years, and the building has seen better days, but it’s home to us. I’m Anup, and I spend most of my time managing the schedules and talking to the people who need things moved. It’s a lot of responsibility making sure everything gets to where it’s going on time. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just rely on the relationships we’ve built over the years in the market. Sometimes it’s stressful when a truck breaks down or the traffic is blocked, but we just deal with it. It’s a very hands-on business. We don't use big words or try to sound like a huge corporation. We’re just a small transport company trying to do a good job every day. The office is full of old ledgers and the smell of tea. It’s just a regular place where regular work gets done, through the heat and the rain.
