Andytex Enterprises

Andytex Enterprises is located at Sangam Nagar- 84 1/3 in the Antop Hill area. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets. The streets are narrow and there are always people moving about. Our space is tucked into one of these busy lanes. It is a tight fit inside with all the stock we keep. We have to be very careful how we stack the boxes so they do not fall over. The air in Antop Hill is always heavy, and it gets quite warm inside our unit during the middle of the day. We have a few small windows, but they do not let in much light. We rely on the overhead tubes to see what we are doing. There is always a lot of chatter from the neighbors and the kids playing in the street outside. We have been part of the Sangam Nagar community for quite a bit. Our work involves a lot of counting and checking through the textiles. It is not glamorous work. The walls have some stains and the door has a squeak that we never got around to fixing. We know the local tea seller and the guys at the corner shop. We just come in, do our bit with the enterprise, and head home when the lights in the lane come on. It is a small part of a very big, busy neighborhood.
