Annies Artz

Annies Artz is located at Shop Number 2 on Juhu Church Road, right opposite the Juhu Sakinaka area. It’s a busy street, and there is always a lot of dust coming in from the cars passing by. We spend a good amount of time every morning dusting off the shelves. The shop is filled with all sorts of supplies like paints, brushes, and different types of paper. It’s not a huge space, so we have things stacked quite high. Sometimes it’s hard to find exactly what a customer wants right away, but we eventually dig it out from the back. We have a few samples of work on the walls, but they are mostly just there to show what the materials can do. The lighting isn't the best, especially in the corners, but it makes the place feel a bit more cozy. We get all kinds of people coming in, from students looking for cheap pencils to older folks who have been painting for years. We don't really do any big advertising. People just see the shop when they are walking to the church or heading towards Sakinaka. There is a small radio that plays local stations in the background while we work. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just surrounded by colors and art supplies. We keep regular hours and try to make sure we have enough stock for the school rush.
