Ankita Jewellers

So, we are located over in Vile Parle East, right on Sahakar Road in Parle Colony. It is C-9 if you are looking for the exact door. The shop has been around for a bit. It’s a busy part of the city, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping or heading to the station. We keep the place open pretty late most days because that is when people actually have time to come by. It’s a small space, so it gets crowded quickly if more than two families walk in at once. My uncle started this and now a few of us take turns behind the desk. We sell earrings, bangles, and the kind of jewelry people wear every day. Nothing too flashy, just honest work. The traffic on Sahakar Road can be a nightmare sometimes, so we hear the horns honking all day long. You get used to it after a while. We don't really do big advertisements or anything. Most of our customers live right here in the colony or just a few streets over. They know us and we know them. If someone needs a watch battery changed or a small necklace fixed, they just bring it over. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going here in Vile Parle. We try to keep the glass clean and the shelves stocked with whatever people are asking for lately.
