Ankita Impex

Ankita Impex operates out of Room No 18 in the Trivari Chawl, which is part of Prabhat Colony in Santacruz East. It’s a small space, but we make it work for everything we do. Living and working in the chawl means you know your neighbors well and there’s always something happening outside the door. We handle import and export tasks from here, mostly just keeping track of shipments and making phone calls to suppliers. It gets a bit tight when we have a lot of files piled up, but that’s just how it is. The building is older, and you can hear the rain on the roof during monsoon season. We don't have a big sign outside or a fancy entrance. Most people find us just by asking around the colony. We’ve been here for years, and it’s become like a second home to the few of us who work here. Santacruz East is a crowded area, so getting around takes some patience. We spend most of our time at the desks, making sure the numbers match up and the orders are moving along. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours. We don't worry about corporate looks or anything like that. We just focus on the business at hand and try to stay organized in our small room. It’s a simple setup, but it gets the job done for us every single day.
