Anirit Urban Agrofoods Private Limited is tucked away on the third floor of Omkar Esquare in Sion East, Mumbai. We’re specifically at C-3A on Tatya Tope Marg, which is right by the Sion Fish Market. It’s a very busy part of the city, so there’s always noise and people moving around. Unlike many agro companies, we are right in the urban heart of Maharashtra. Our work is mostly about connecting the rural farms with the city markets. It’s a lot of phone calls and managing deliveries through the Mumbai traffic, which can be a real headache near Joglekarwadi. The office isn't very large, just enough space for us to keep things running. We don't have any polished corporate mission or anything like that. We just focus on getting food from point A to point B without any fuss. Sometimes the elevator in our building breaks down, so we have to carry things up the stairs, which keeps us in shape. We’ve been at this address for a while and the people in the building know us well. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We’re just a small team trying to handle the logistics of agrofoods in a place where everything moves at a hundred miles an hour. If you’re in the Sion area, you’ll find us easily. It’s a hectic job, but we like being right in the middle of the action.
