Finding our place isn't too hard since we are on the second floor of the building in Andheri East, tucked right behind the Kotak Mahindra Bank. It’s a busy part of the city, so there’s always a lot of movement and noise coming up from the street. Being on the second floor is nice because we’re a bit removed from the immediate dust of the road. We’ve set up the office to be practical for the kind of enterprise work we do. There’s a main area where most of the staff sit, and then a smaller corner for the records and files. We deal with a lot of paperwork and coordination, so there are always folders moving from one desk to another. The bank downstairs is a good landmark, so we just tell people to look for that. We don't have fancy signs or anything; it’s just a regular office door. Most of our days are spent checking schedules and making sure the logistics for the various projects are on track. We have a small pantry where we make tea, which is a bit of a ritual for us around four in the afternoon. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, but that’s just standard for this area. It’s a hardworking environment, and we mostly just focus on getting through the daily list of tasks. We like being in Andheri.
