Anharva Import Private Limited

Anharva Import operates out of Balaji Krupa Chamber on Kaji Sayad Street. We are on the second floor, room 205/B. This part of Mumbai, near the 400003 area, is incredibly packed. The streets are narrow and there are handcarts and trucks everywhere. Our office is inside the Om Enterprises space. It’s an old building with a lot of character, though the stairs are a bit steep. We deal with the import side of things here. It’s a lot of checking invoices and making sure the customs papers are in order. The air in the office always smells a bit like the spices and goods being traded on the street below. It’s a very traditional business area. We don’t have much in the way of modern furniture. Most of it is heavy wood that’s been here for years. We get a lot of walk-in traffic from people in the trade. The fan hums all day long. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise from the street to talk to each other. It’s not a polished environment, but it’s where the real work happens. We drink a lot of chai and stay late during the busy seasons. Most of the people around here have known each other for decades. It feels like being part of a big, messy family and the work just flows along as the day goes by.
