Ambuja Cement Ltd.

We are with Ambuja Cement Ltd. and our office is based over in the Elegant Business Park. It’s located right behind the Kotak Mahindra Bank on MIDC Cross Road B in Andheri East. This is a very busy part of Mumbai, especially with all the traffic coming off the Andheri Kurla Road throughout the day. In this office, we handle a lot of the logistics and paperwork side of the cement business. We spend most of our time on the phone or working through delivery schedules to make sure everything is moving to the right construction sites. It isn’t exactly a glamorous job, and the office is usually filled with the sounds of keyboards and people discussing transport routes. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. It’s a good location because it’s central for the city, even if getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the local traffic. We don’t have a showroom here or any products on display because we are mostly dealing with the backend and distribution. People usually only come by for meetings or to sort out their accounts. The building is decent enough, but we aren't really focused on having a fancy look. We just want to make sure the coordination between the plants and the dealers goes smoothly so that builders aren't left waiting for their materials. It’s just steady work that we do every day without a lot of fuss.
