Harish Parekh Couture Mumbai

We are located in Shop No. 3 at the Om Heera Panna Mall in Oshiwara. It’s a busy part of Andheri West, so there’s always something happening right outside the doors. Being in a mall means we see a lot of people just walking by and peeking through the glass. Inside the shop, we have a lot of fabric and half-finished clothes hanging up. It’s not always as tidy as we’d like it to be, but that is how it goes. Harish Parekh Couture is really just a place where we work on designs and talk to customers about what they want to wear for their events. We spend hours looking at colors and threads. Sometimes the sewing machines have a mind of their own and we have to stop and fix them. It’s not a big glamorous studio, just a working shop that smells like fabric and tea. We have some mirrors and a small space for people to try things on. The mall can get pretty crowded on the weekends when families come out. We stay quite late most nights to finish up the stitching work. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on small details that most people don't even see. Sometimes we lose track of time when the work is heavy. We’ve been in this spot for some time now and know the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a decent community. We just focus on the clothes and making sure the fit is okay.
