Ad Fashions

Ad Fashions is tucked away in Andheri West. If you live in Mumbai, you know how crazy Andheri can get, especially during the monsoon or rush hour. We are right in the middle of all that energy. We work with clothes, but it’s not like those high-end boutiques you see in the malls. It’s more of a hands-on operation where we are always touching fabrics and checking seams. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many racks and boxes everywhere. We don’t really have a big sign or a lobby. Most people who come to us are regulars or folks who heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We spend our days talking to tailors and suppliers, trying to get the right shades of fabric. Sometimes we get it wrong and have to start over, which is frustrating, but it happens. We aren't a corporate giant; we're just a group of people who know their way around a sewing machine and a cutting table. It gets hot in the afternoons, and the noise from the street never really stops, but we’re used to it by now. It’s just a local shop trying to provide something decent for the people around here. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We just make clothes and try to stay organized in the chaos of the city every day.
