Mauryan Art

Mauryan Art is based in Andheri East. We don’t have a big showroom with glass windows. It’s more of a workspace where we keep our items and handle the daily tasks. Andheri East is always moving, full of offices and people rushing to catch the metro or a bus. We fit right into that busy environment. Our focus is on the art pieces we handle, though the space itself is quite plain. We’ve been in this area for a while because it’s central for our suppliers and the people we work with. The building we are in is just like any other in Andheri—a bit old but it serves the purpose. We don’t go for the gallery look. Most of the time, the place is cluttered with packing materials and boxes. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just care about the work itself. Dealing with art in such a hectic part of town is interesting. You wouldn't expect to find us here among all the IT offices and factories. We keep to ourselves mostly. People who know about us usually find us through word of mouth. It’s a simple setup. No big promises or corporate mission statements. Just Mauryan Art doing our thing in a corner of Andheri.
