Rodeo Drive

You can find us at Shop 6 inside the Sahar area, specifically within the ITC Maratha hotel. The name of our shop is Rodeo Drive. Even though we are inside a big, fancy hotel in Andheri East, we try to keep things grounded in our little corner. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about how much we put on the shelves. We mostly see travelers who are staying at the hotel or people passing through on their way to the airport. It gets a bit busy when a large flight lands and guests check in all at once. Other times, it is very quiet and we just sit and wait for the next person to walk in. We don't have a huge team, just a couple of us who take turns being here. The shop is clean because we spend a lot of time dusting the glass cases. We don't do much in the way of social media or big campaigns. People just happen to walk past Shop 6 and see something they like. We try to be helpful without hovering too much over everyone. The air conditioning in the hotel is always very cold, so we usually wear sweaters even when it’s hot outside in Mumbai. It’s a decent place to work. We’ve seen all kinds of people from all over the world come through these doors. We just keep the shop ready for whoever comes next.
