We are over at Amir Manzil on Vasil Khan Marg in Mumbai. Room number six, first floor. It is a busy spot in Surti Mohalla near Two Tank. We handle gold items and garments here. Most days start with opening the shutters and checking the new stock that came in. It’s a tight space but we make it work. Some people come for the clothes and others ask about the gold pieces we have. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a practical office where the work happens. Sometimes the traffic outside is really loud, you know how Mumbai is. We spend most of our time sorting through the inventory. It gets a bit dusty with all the fabric around. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Neighbors know us by name. It’s just a normal day-to-day business. We keep things simple. Usually, one of us is busy with paperwork while the other talks to whoever drops by. The building is old, has that classic Mumbai feel. We have different types of garments piled up. The gold part of the business needs a bit more focus and quiet. We try to keep things organized but sometimes when a big shipment arrives, it gets messy for a few hours. We just deal with what is in front of us. Our team isn't big, but we know what we're doing. We focus on the daily tasks and make sure everything is handled properly before we close up for the night.
