Our place, Anandpara Surgical And General Hospital, is located at Iqbal House on P T Solicitor Road, right off Rani Sati Marg in Malad East. It is an older building but it is where we do all our daily work. Being situated on Rani Sati Marg means there is always something going on outside on the street. We handle general cases and surgeries too. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes in the narrow hallways, but we make it work for everyone. The doctors here have been practicing around Malad for a very long time now. People come in with all sorts of health problems, and we just try to sort them out as best as we can. We do not have any fancy signs or big advertisements on the road. Most people find us because they live in the neighborhood or someone they know told them to come here for surgery. It is just a straightforward, honest hospital. We spend our long days checking on the patients and making sure the surgery room is ready for the next case. It gets pretty busy during the middle of the week. Sometimes the old elevator is a bit slow and the waiting room gets completely full, but that is just how it goes in a place like this. We are just local people working in Malad East, trying to keep the community healthy. It is a simple operation at Iqbal House, nothing more and nothing less.
