Nexus Fashion Jewellery

Nexus Fashion Jewellery is located at C-16 in the Anand Bhuvan building. That’s on V. P. Road, number 163/165. If you know Mumbai, you know this area is famous for all sorts of shops and businesses. We have a small space where we keep all our jewellery pieces. It’s not a big showroom with bright lights and fancy carpets. It’s more of a place where we get the work done. We spend our time looking at small beads, metals, and designs. My eyes get tired by the end of the day from looking at such tiny things. We started this because we liked the idea of making things people would wear. It’s a lot of manual work, putting pieces together and checking the finish. The building is quite old, like many on V. P. Road, so it has that specific smell of old wood and stone. We have boxes piled up in the corners with different components. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking past. It's a crowded little shop but we know where everything is. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It's a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are in here, but we make it work. That's our daily life here in Anand Bhuvan.
