Anand Bearing Corporation

Anand Bearing Corporation is located at 381/B Vithal Niwas on Vithalbhai Road near Grant Road. It is a busy street with lots of people walking by all the time. Our shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit a lot of stuff on the shelves. There are bearings in different sizes everywhere you look. Most days start early when we open the shutters and sweep the floor. The dust from the road always finds its way inside no matter how much we clean. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogs or checking the stock for people who stop in. Grant Road is a loud place with all the horns and the trains nearby, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We keep the ledger on the desk and write things down as they happen. Sometimes the lights flicker when the power is a bit unstable in the neighborhood. We usually have a small tea break around four in the afternoon when things quiet down for a few minutes. Dealing with metal parts means our hands are often a bit greasy by the end of the day. It is just the way the work goes. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. People just come in because they know we are here and have been here for a while. We just keep doing what we do every day at Vithal Niwas.
