You can find us over in Kandivali West. It’s a pretty active part of the city, and things are usually moving fast outside our doors. Being in Kandivali West means there is always a lot of noise and people around, which is just how it is here. The hospital is basically just a place where we help folks who aren't feeling their best. We see all kinds of people every day, from young kids to older folks who have lived in this area for decades. The rooms are kept plain and functional because that’s what’s needed. Our day starts early when the first few people show up at the entrance. We don’t have any big signs or flashy stuff, just the name Anad Hospital on the front. Sometimes the waiting area gets full, especially when the weather changes and everyone seems to catch a cold at the same time. We just deal with things as they come. The staff usually brings their own lunch and eats in the back room when there is a quiet minute. It’s a busy life working in Kandivali West, but we are used to the rhythm of it. Most of the people who come in live within walking distance or a short rickshaw ride away. We just stay focused on the patients and keep the place running day in and day out without much ceremony.
