Amritsar Bombay Carrier is located down on 201 Chakla Street, right at the Cross Lane near the BMC Chawl No 3. This part of the city is always packed with trucks and laborers moving heavy loads. Our office is a small room where the walls are lined with ledgers and old records. It smells like old paper and the diesel fumes from the street outside. We handle transport and moving goods, mostly focusing on the route between here and the north. It’s a tough business and things don't always go perfectly. Trucks get delayed by traffic or the weather, and we spend a lot of time on the phone trying to figure out where everything is. The area around Sio is always humming with energy. We have been doing this for many years, and the office hasn't changed much in that time. There are wooden desks and a few fans that help with the Mumbai heat.
