Amrit Carriers

Amrit Carriers is based out of 62/1818 Vikhroli East, which is basically where we spend most of our daylight hours. The office isn't much to look at, just a desk and some chairs where we handle the paperwork for the trucks. People around here know us because we've been in this spot for a good while. Usually, the day starts pretty early with phone calls about where the loads are and if the drivers started on time. Traffic in this part of town can be a real headache, especially when we're trying to move things through the narrow lanes. We don't really do anything fancy here. It is mostly just keeping track of the routes and making sure the goods get where they need to go without getting stuck somewhere for days. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when the heavy rains hit and everything slows down to a crawl. We have a few regulars who stop by just to chat or check on their stuff. It’s a lot of coordination, looking at maps, and talking on the phone until our ears get sore. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we kind of know the routine by heart now. There isn't any big secret to it, just showing up and doing the work. The walls have a few old calendars hanging up and there is always a thermos of tea somewhere nearby. It gets dusty with all the movement, but that is just how it is in this business.
