Amol House Ware

Down in Malad West, near the Chincholi Bunder area on N B Road, is where you’ll find Amol House Ware. The building is in a spot called Mala, and it’s always a bit of a scramble with all the traffic coming off the main roads. We have piles of houseware items everywhere you look, from kitchen stuff to plastic containers. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is kept, even if it takes a second to find it under a stack of boxes. The floor is usually covered in some packing tape or bits of cardboard from the shipments we get in. We spend a lot of time unloading stuff and then moving it back out when someone needs it. It gets pretty dusty because of the road right outside, but we just wipe things down as we go. The people who work here have been around for a while, so we all know the routine pretty well. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; people just know we are here on N B Road. Sometimes we stand out front for a bit just to get some fresh air and watch the cars go by. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always something happening on the street, but we just stay focused on our boxes and the daily inventory.
