I am Amit and my workplace is in Bhandup East. It’s 201 Gharkul, located in Damle Colony. Mumbai is a big place, but Bhandup has its own feel. I’ve lived around here for a long time. My office is basically just a room in the colony. It’s nothing special to look at, just a place where I keep my computer and some files. I spend most of my day here. The building is quiet during the day when most people are out at work. I handle everything that comes my way. I don't have a receptionist or anyone else. If the phone rings, I’m the one who picks it up. Sometimes I’m out on the field, so the office stays locked for a few hours. I’ve been running this for several years now. It’s a steady way to make a living. I don't use fancy words to describe what I do. I just get the tasks done as they come in. Damle Colony is a nice spot, away from the worst of the traffic. It’s easy to reach if you’re coming from the station side. I keep things pretty basic here. No big signs, no expensive furniture. Just a desk and a chair and what I need to work. If you need me, just come to building 201. I’m usually there unless I’ve gone out for lunch.
