AMI Industries

AMI Industries is tucked away in the Surve Industrial Estate. We are at number 8 on 1st Sonawala Cross Road in Goregaon East. This area is always full of trucks and noise, which is typical for an industrial estate in Mumbai. We have a small floor space where we do our manufacturing and assembly. It is not a quiet place. There is always the sound of machines running or something being moved around. We have been here for a good number of years now. Most of the people working here live nearby or take the train into Goregaon. We don't have a big marketing department or anything fancy like that. We just make our products and ship them out to whoever needs them. The office is just a small corner with a couple of desks and a lot of paperwork. It gets a bit crowded when we have a big order going out. We try to keep things organized but in a busy shop like ours, there is always a bit of clutter. Our neighbors in the estate are all doing similar things, so we all know each other. It’s a hardworking environment. We just focus on the job at hand and try to make sure everything leaving the shop is built right. It's practical work for practical people. We stay busy from morning until evening.
