We’ve been at Girgaon 6th Cross for a while now. It's a busy spot on Sampige Road and people just drop in when they need things. We keep the doors open most days and try to help whoever walks in. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular shop. My cousin and I handle most of the work here. Sometimes it gets crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home after a long day at work. We have a lot of stuff piled up in the back, so it takes a minute to find things sometimes. That's just how it goes in a small space like this. We know most of the neighbors by name. It’s a good community around here and we feel at home. We don't have a big website or anything, just this physical spot at number 5. If you're walking down Sampige Road, you’ll see our sign. It's a bit weathered now from the rain and sun over the seasons. We handle various bits and pieces of business. Some days are slow, which is fine, gives us time to reorganize the shelves and sweep the floor. Other days, the phone won't stop ringing and we are running around quite a bit. We just do what we can and stay busy. It’s a simple living for us. We’ve seen the street change a lot over the years, but we’re still right here in the same little corner.
