Ambuja Intermediates Limited

Our office for Ambuja Intermediates Limited is on the 4th floor of the Apsara Cinema Building. This is on D.B. Road, which most people know as Lamington Road. This area is famous for all sorts of things, but mostly it is just very, very busy with constant traffic. Being on the fourth floor gives us a little bit of distance from the noise of the street, but you can still hear the city humming below all day long. The Apsara Cinema Building is an old landmark that everyone around here recognizes, so it makes it easy to tell people where to find us when they visit. We have been here for a good while, and the office has that lived-in feel to it. It’s not a fancy corporate suite, just a place with desks and phones and a lot of work to get through. The elevator in the building can be a bit temperamental sometimes, so we often end up taking the stairs to stay on time. Lamington Road is always packed with people looking for electronics or just passing through, and we are right in the thick of it. It’s a convenient spot in many ways, even if the traffic is a nightmare during the middle of the day. We just come in, do our bit for the business, and watch the chaos of Mumbai from our windows. It is a very practical, central place for us to be based.
