Ambika Transports

Our office is over in Kandivali West, specifically at Samarth Deep in Block 405. It is really close to the railway station, which makes it easy for people to drop by, though most just call us on the phone. We spend most of our time coordinating where the trucks are and when the goods will actually arrive. Transport work is a bit chaotic because of the traffic and the weather, but we have been doing this long enough to not get too stressed out about it. The office is usually filled with papers and ledgers because we like to keep a physical record of everything. We handle different kinds of loads, mostly stuff that needs to go across the state or just across the city. It is a small team here in Samarth Deep. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. Kandivali is a busy area, especially near the station, so there is always noise coming from the street. We don't really do much advertising; people mostly find us through word of mouth or because they saw our trucks around. It's just a regular local business trying to make sure things get delivered where they need to go without too much trouble. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the drivers to check in. It’s a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing, but that is the life of a transport person in this city.
