Amber Plastics

Amber Plastics is tucked away on the first floor in Balaji Nagar. The address is a bit of a mouthful, B/1- D/1 Kurla Andheri Road, near the Pune Satara Road area, right opposite the Safed Pool in Sakinaka. It’s a crowded part of town, that’s for sure. Getting here through the traffic can be a real headache some afternoons. We’ve been operating out of this Sakinaka spot for quite a while. The floor is usually covered with bits of plastic or offcuts because we are always middle of some project. We don't have a receptionist. If you walk in, you'll probably find one of us working near the back. The building is older, but it serves us well. It gets hot in the summer, especially with the machines running, but we keep the fans going. We know most of the other business owners on the Kurla Andheri Road. We trade stories about the traffic or the rain. Our space isn't huge, so we have to be smart about how we stack the raw materials. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. At Amber Plastics, we don't worry about being fancy. We just focus on getting the orders right. It's a lot of physical work, lifting and moving things around all day. But we like it. It's what we know. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in this area, but we’ve managed to stay put and keep things moving along.
