If you go behind the Punjab National Bank in Malad West, you will find Amardeep Roadways. We’ve been tucked away in this spot for a long time. It’s not a flashy office with glass walls. It’s mostly desks, phones, and a lot of logbooks. The transport business is busy and it doesn't really stop. There are always calls coming in about where trucks are or when things will arrive. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who swing by. Malad West is a crowded area, but being behind the bank gives us a little bit of a breather from the main road noise. It’s a practical place to run a roadways business. We don't have time for polished presentations. Most of our day is spent solving little problems and making sure things are moving the way they should. It can be stressful when traffic is bad or weather gets in the way. But that is just how it goes. We know the routes and we know the people. We’ve built up our way of doing things over many years. It’s a local operation, run by people who live nearby. We aren't some big corporate entity. We are just Amardeep Roadways, working out of a small office in Malad. If you know the bank, you can find us easily.
