Amantech Chemicals Pvt. Ltd.

Our place is 102A in the Ranjit Studio building on D.S.P. Road in Dadar East. It’s a busy area of Mumbai. The building has a lot of history, though our office is just a regular workspace for our chemical business, Amantech Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. We don’t actually manufacture the chemicals right here in Dadar; this is more where we handle the orders and the technical side of things. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the filing cabinets and desks, but we make it work. The sounds of the city are always coming in through the windows. We spend a lot of time looking at data sheets and talking to clients on the phone. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important work. We’ve got a small lab area for testing some samples, but mostly it’s an office. Getting here on the train can be a bit of a mess during rush hour, but that’s just Dadar for you. We’ve been in this studio building for quite some time now. Most of the people working here live nearby or a short commute away. We don’t have any big corporate mission posters on the walls. We just focus on getting the chemical specs right and making sure the deliveries are on time. It’s a practical, local business. We just keep working through the list of tasks every day and try to stay organized as best as we can.
