We are located in Alta Bhavan at 532 Senapati Bapat Marg. It’s a busy road in Dadar West, right near the Mhatre Pen building. Altaroma Chemicals has been operating out of this spot for a while now. The building is easy to spot, but the traffic on the Marg can be a nightmare during rush hour. Our office isn’t one of those modern glass boxes you see in the new parts of the city. It’s a sturdy, older building where we handle all the technical side of the chemical business. We have desks cluttered with reports and samples of various things we work on. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves and files. Most of us have been here for a long time, so we know where everything is even if it looks messy to an outsider. We don't have a big corporate canteen, so we usually just bring our own food or get something from the local shops around Dadar. Sometimes we take a walk down the street to clear our heads when the paperwork gets to be too much. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to make sure the orders are correct and the lab results are steady. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the noise of the street outside. We just keep to ourselves and focus on the chemistry and the business side of things. There is always something to recheck before the day ends.
