Als Curl Up Dye

If you’re wandering around Bandra West, you might find us at number 4. Als Curl Up Dye is just a local spot where we do hair. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. We’ve got the usual chairs, some sinks for washing, and a lot of shelves filled with different bottles. It’s usually pretty lively in here with music playing and people talking over the sound of the clippers. We get all sorts of people coming in, from regulars who’ve lived in Bandra forever to younger folks looking for something different. We do a lot of cutting, coloring, and styling, obviously. The floors are rarely clean for more than five minutes because there’s always someone in the chair. It’s a bit of a squeeze when it gets crowded on Saturday afternoons, but nobody seems to mind the wait. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and we see when we can get to you. The staff here are just normal people who happen to be good with scissors. We like the vibe of this street, even if parking is a total nightmare most of the time. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk past the window every morning. It’s just a straightforward hair place without any of the extra fuss you see in the big malls. We enjoy the work and the local chat.
