Alpha Chemie

We are based out of Versova, over on Dairy Hill Road in Lila Nagar. Our place is 310/C, and we’re quite close to the Sai Baba Mandir. It’s a nice area of Mumbai, usually a bit of a breeze coming from the coast. We work with chemicals, specifically the ones used in various industries. The office isn't anything special to look at. It's mostly just a place where we keep our records and talk to suppliers. We spend a lot of time coordinating deliveries and making sure the containers are handled right. Since we’re near Yari Road, the traffic can be a nightmare in the evenings, but during the day it’s alright. There’s a quietness to this part of the hill that you don't find elsewhere. We’ve been in this building for several years. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have so many files, but we know where everything is. It’s not a corporate environment. We wear casual clothes and drink a lot of tea while we work. Sometimes we walk down to the temple when things get too stressful. It’s a simple operation. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales force. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our sign on the road. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It's a living, and we enjoy being part of the Versova neighborhood.
