We’re up on the third floor, Unit 304, in the Damji Shamji Industrial Complex on LBS Marg. If you know Kurla West, you know it can get pretty crowded around here, especially during the morning rush. Alm Engineering & Instrumentation has been based in this complex for several years now. We do a lot of work with instruments and technical gadgets that most people wouldn't even recognize. The office is usually a bit cluttered with wires, sensors, and half-finished projects sitting on the workbenches. It’s a place where we do a lot of thinking and testing. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just focus on the engineering side of things. Sometimes a customer will come in with something broken, and we’ll spend all afternoon trying to figure out why it stopped working. It’s a lot of trial and error, but that’s just the nature of the job. The building itself is an old industrial spot, so it’s got that specific feel and smell to it. We like it here because it’s central and most of our suppliers are just a short drive away. We’re just a small team of engineers trying to do right by the people who hire us. It’s not always easy, but it’s interesting work and it keeps the lights on. We don't need much more than that to be satisfied at the end of the day.
