Our place is over in Mumbai Central at the Maruti Center. We are specifically at 1-G on 1st Bhatwadi Lane. It’s a busy little lane with a lot of auto-related businesses all around us. We manufacture auto parts and spares here. The workshop is always humming with the sound of machines and people working on different components. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the equipment and the raw materials we keep in stock. We’ve been in this location for a good number of years now. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit; there’s oil and metal shavings on the floor by the end of the day. We have a team of people who really know their way around the machinery. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor making sure the parts are coming out right. It gets hot in the middle of the day, but we just keep the fans going and stay at it. We are right next to some other shops in the building, so we see the same neighbors every morning when we open up. The lane can get blocked with delivery vans sometimes, which is just part of being in Mumbai Central. We don't do much in the way of marketing or fancy brochures. People know where we are and what we make. It’s a steady business of making sure the spare parts are ready for whoever needs them. We just keep the production line moving along as best as we can every single day.
