Allex Telecom

You can find Allex Telecom over in Borivali West at Bandra Link B/49. It's a small shop, mostly focused on phones and things like that. The space is narrow, so we have to be careful where we put everything. We spend a lot of time behind the counter. People come in with broken screens or they need a new SIM card. It’s a lot of the same stuff every day. The Bandra Link road is always loud with horns and buses passing by. Sometimes it’s hard to hear the customers. We have a couple of stools for people to sit on while they wait, but usually, they just stand and chat. The walls are covered in chargers and cases. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us taking turns. The light in the back flickers sometimes but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. Most of the people around here know us by name. It’s a local spot. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's just a practical place to get your phone sorted out. We drink a lot of tea during the afternoon slump. Closing time depends on how many people are still waiting. Usually, we head home by 9. It’s been our routine for years now. Borivali is a good place for a shop like this because everyone has a phone that needs something. We just try to keep things moving and help out the neighbors when their tech acts up.
