Allanasons Ltd.

We are based at Allana House on Allana Road, right near the Electric House in Colaba. It’s a part of Mumbai that’s always moving. Working at Allanasons Ltd. means dealing with a lot of moving parts every single day. We handle exports, which involves a mountain of paperwork and a lot of phone calls to different ports and warehouses. The building itself has been here for a long time, and it feels like a solid part of the neighborhood. People often drop by for various business matters, and there is a constant stream of visitors and staff going in and out. It’s not a quiet place. You can hear the sounds of Colaba outside—the taxis, the people walking by, and the general hum of the city. We don't really do much in the way of flashy advertising. Our work is more about managing supply chains and making sure shipments are on time. It can be stressful when there are delays at the docks or issues with shipping routes, but we just deal with it as it comes. The team here is a mix of people who have been around for decades and some newer faces. We mostly just focus on getting the cargo where it needs to go. Colaba is a good place to be for this kind of work, even if parking is a nightmare. We’re just a bunch of people trying to keep a large export operation running smoothly from our office.
