Alim Saloon

Our shop is situated in the Behram Baug area of Jogeshwari West, right near the Mega Mall in Ganesh Nagar. It is a busy part of town, so there is never a dull moment. We are tucked away in a spot that gets a mix of people—some coming from the mall and others who live right here in Ganesh Nagar. The salon itself isn't very large, but we’ve made the most of the space we have. We’ve got a couple of solid barber chairs and a big mirror that covers most of the back wall. We spend our days mostly cutting hair and doing shaves for the local men. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan is always on high speed to keep the air moving. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just a few pictures of different haircuts on the wall so people can point to what they want. The floor gets swept many times a day because we don't like it getting too messy for the next person who walks in. We are just a group of guys who know how to use a pair of scissors properly. We don't promise anything other than a normal, clean haircut. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come in and it gets a bit loud, but we don't mind. We’ve been part of this community for a while now and we just like being here.
