Alfa-enterprises is located at Ballard Estate, specifically in the Pilanmai Building on Karwar Street. We take up units 8 and 9 on the ground floor, which makes it easy for moving stuff in and out without dealing with stairs or slow lifts. This part of Fort has that old-school Mumbai feel, with the heavy stone buildings and wide roads that used to be a lot quieter than they are now. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time. The office is basically just a place where we handle all the orders and keep the paperwork straight. It’s nothing too special to look at, just desks and shelves full of files. Vaju Kotak Marg is right there, so there's always a bit of a breeze coming off the port side if we're lucky. Usually, the day starts with a lot of tea and checking what came in the day before. We deal with various enterprise needs, mostly just keeping things moving for our customers. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after the first week. We aren't trying to be some massive global firm with glass walls. We’re just a local business in an old building trying to do right by the people who buy from us. Some days are busier than others, especially when the tax deadlines hit or big orders arrive all at once.
