Our place is at 8-Gaiwadi Industrial Estate, right off S.V.Road. Being on S.V.Road means we are in a very busy part of the suburbs, and there is always something going on. The industrial estate itself has been here for decades, and it has that classic industrial feel to it. We work with all kinds of machine tools, mostly focusing on grinding and surface finishing equipment. The workshop is usually humming with the sound of machines being tested or repaired. It’s a dusty environment, but that is expected when you are dealing with heavy machinery and metal. We have a small office area where we handle the billing and talk to clients, but most of our time is spent on the shop floor. The guys here have a lot of experience and they can usually tell what’s wrong with a machine just by listening to it. We aren't the type to use big words or fancy marketing; we just explain things as they are. Sometimes the estate gets a bit crowded with delivery trucks, and we have to help guide them in. We've seen many businesses come and go in Gaiwadi, but we've managed to stick around by just doing our job consistently. It’s a practical, no-frills operation and we like it that way. We usually wrap up the day as the sun goes down and the traffic on S.V.Road starts to peak. It is a long day's work but it is what we know best.
