Ald Beauty Parlour

Ald Beauty Parlour is over at Shantiniketan 15. It’s a small space, nothing too big. We do regular stuff like hair cuts and threading. Mostly women from around the neighborhood stop by. It gets busy on weekends, especially in the mornings when everyone wants to get ready for something. We have a few mirrors and the usual chairs. It’s not a spa or anything, just a place to get your hair done or maybe some henna. I’ve been working here for a long time. The light inside is a bit bright but it helps us see what we are doing. We keep the floor swept, though hair gets everywhere fast. Sometimes people just come in to talk while they wait. We have some old magazines on the table, though nobody really reads them anymore because of phones. The sign outside is a bit faded but people know where we are. It’s a simple setup. We don't have fancy machines, just the basic tools that work. I like being at Shantiniketan, it’s a nice area. Most of the customers are regulars who have been coming for years. We know their names and how they like their hair. It’s just a normal day-to-day business. We open early and stay until the last person is done. Nothing much else to it. We keep things simple. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise but it keeps us cool enough. It's just how the shop is and we are fine with that.
