Alankar Communication

We’re over in Girgaon at Pardawala Mansion, specifically in shops 392 and 394 at number 461. It’s an old building with a lot of character, and we’ve been here at Alankar Communication for a long time. Having two shop spaces sounds like a lot, but they’re actually quite small and filled to the brim with cables, chargers, and phone parts. We spend a lot of time moving between the two spots to find the right tool or piece of equipment. Girgaon is a very traditional part of the city, and we like the vibe of the streets around here. The shop floors are a bit uneven, and the ceiling is high, which helps keep it a bit cooler. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know the ins and outs of mobile repairs. Often, the workbench is a mess of wires and tiny components, but that’s just how we work. We don't bother with fancy displays or bright lights. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood who know where to find us in Pardawala Mansion. If the doorbell rings, we know someone’s come in, otherwise, we’re usually focused on a circuit board or talking to a supplier on the phone. It’s a busy life, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, at shops 392 and 394, right in the heart of Girgaon.
