Al Rashid Trading is over at 490 in Crawford Market. If you’ve ever been to Crawford Market, you know how it is. It’s crowded, loud, and full of every kind of smell you can imagine. Our shop is part of that world. We deal in trading, mostly moving goods that come through the market every day. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but we’ve got a lot of history here. We don't have a shiny office with air conditioning or fancy carpets. It’s more about the crates, the ledgers, and the phones ringing. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and making sure things get where they need to go. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes a bit of shouting when things get hectic in the afternoon. The market has its own rhythm, and you have to learn it to survive here for long. We’ve been at this for a long time, through the heat and the monsoons. Some days are slow, but most are just a blur of activity. We don't put on an act for anyone who walks in. We’re just here to do business and keep the trade moving. People know us because we’ve been at address 490 for ages. It’s a tough environment, but it’s where we belong.
