Akshay Movers

We are located at Office No 303 on the 3rd floor of Chhe Masjid. If you know the area near Masjid Bunder Station, you know how incredibly crowded and hectic it can get. That’s exactly where Akshay Movers is based. Being on the third floor means we carry a lot of stuff up and down, though mostly our office is just for the paperwork and scheduling. The sound of the trains and the porters at the station is something we hear all day long. Our office is fairly simple—just a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of empty cardboard boxes stacked in the corner. We spend most of our time on the phone coordinating with drivers and the guys who do the heavy lifting. Moving things in this part of town is a challenge because the lanes are so narrow and the traffic never seems to stop. We handle a lot of household moves and some commercial stuff too. It’s a lot of wrapping things in bubble wrap and making sure nothing breaks when the trucks are bumping along the roads. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just us here making sure the schedules don’t get messed up. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s a tiring business, but we’ve been near Masjid Bunder for a long time and we know how to navigate these streets better than most.
