Our office is at 207, New Bake House, which is a historic building on MCC Lane in the Fort area of Mumbai. It’s a very old part of town with high ceilings and thick walls. Working here feels different than being in a modern office park. We deal with chemicals, mostly handling the paperwork and logistics from this location. The streets outside in Fort are always packed with people and street food vendors. We have a small team here in unit 207. The desks are old, and we have files stacked up from years of business. It’s a bit cramped, but it works for us. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk up the stairs and you’re in our main room. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through documents. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We’ve been in this building for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite the noise from the traffic on the main road, it’s actually quite quiet inside the Bake House. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and making sure our shipments are on track. It’s a traditional way of running a business, and we like the history of the place. We usually grab some snacks from the local stalls downstairs during our breaks.
