Akhil Transport

Akhil Transport is situated at 5 Masjid Bunder West, specifically near the 2nd Cross S G Palya, D R C Post. It’s a busy hub for moving things around. The office is right in the middle of all the action. You can always hear the sound of horns and people shouting directions. We deal with a lot of logistics every day. It’s mostly just us on the phones, tracking where the trucks are and making sure things are moving. The floor is concrete and it gets pretty cold in the winter months. We have a small stove for making tea, which is pretty much the most important thing in the office. There isn't any fancy art on the walls, just some old clipboards and a map that’s starting to yellow at the edges. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us trying to keep the wheels turning. Sometimes things go wrong, like a tire blows out or the rain delays a delivery, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It’s a practical business. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people find us because they’ve seen our trucks or know someone we’ve worked for. It’s a long day, usually starting before the sun is up and ending well after dark. But that’s just how the transport business goes. We’re used to the pace of Masjid Bunder.
